The horrible thing called the school dress code. There were ways around it. Trying to make your own style by wearing different colors underneath your white shirt.Well at my school we have the dress code of wearing blue and white shirts, and blue jeans/joggers.Most kids don't like the idea of this because it's just too plain. Personally I would love to just wear whatever i wanted too.Its easier just buying regular clothes than looking for plain blue and white shirts with no design.
It really doesnt matter that there trying to keep us away from gang colors because blue and white are the colors of one of the biggest gnags in the world!So trying to keep us "safe" is out of the administrations hands.Our dress code has no purpose because sure we have to wear blue and white, but we can wear it in any style we would like.I've see style such as preppy,gangsta',jocks, It's just all over the place and the code has no meaning.One of my teachers has also talked about this issue and had said that It doesnt make any sense.
When you think about a school dress code you probably think everyone looks the same in uniform, but at Chase (my school) everyone looks different.Im not saying we should have a more strict code im just stating that the purpose of It doesnt have any value anymore.Mine as well just wear what we want right?Well I speak for everyone when I say thats just a dream.It would be a miracle to have that freedom in CPS school.Most schools have a dress code and it's in high school that you'll rpobably have that oppertunity to wear what you would like.
My parents have told me that they had to wear uniforms when they went to school. So I guess It's been going on for awhile and we have to deal with the fact that we really have no choice. Unless your on the Student Council, and can talk to the the principal about the ordeal.

Its easier to wear want you want, because you are comfortable with what you are wearing. If you are wearing a uniform it is uncomfortable, because they are making you wear it.
Yeah we should be able to put on whatever we want man i hate this damn code white and blue we look like the american flag and its annoying. It would easier to just wear what we want.koo blog i agree wit u and this uniform is dumb.
I think its easier to wear what we like because in some schools the kids don't need to take uniform and thats not fair. I think that in our school they should let us bring what ever we want to because the only colors we are allowed to wear in our school is blue and white and all the kids in Chase would like to wear the colors they want.
I think that we should be allowed to wear anything we want because Its getting lame wearing the same colors over n over again. Also, it will be nice if the school let us wear whatever we want. Its not fair because other schools don't have to use uniforms. Actually wearing any color would be cool and straight.
I think that we shouldnt have a dress code becuase aint it funny that the teachers dont ware it? And people need to express themselfs in there own way, then our teachers always complain that we shouldnt follow the crowd, but aint dressing alike following the crownd? And some kids in our school sometimes dontt even where school colors. Well thats my opinion.

The reason i think that parents havent been saying anything is because they agree with them. Because since now and days we have gangs they want us to be safe, But the teachers dont seem to ware it either. And people want to dress in their own kinda style and not look or copy anyone else.
If you have to were school dress code they cant say your in a gang because every one has the same clothing.
yes we should wear what ever we want bc its what we buy and the school colors at chase are not that strick bc as long as you were blue and white you are ok
Yeah thats what my blog is about so i agree with you we should wear watever we feel like wearing because its getting boring wearing the same colors every single day.
